Effects of exercise on hypertension

Regular exercise is something that is inevitable to our body system in order to maintain the proper functioning of various parts of our body. Exercises strengthen the different organs of the body like heart, muscles, bones and it also helps in the maintenance of various metabolic pathways. 
It is also prevents the individual from storing of excess fats which could cause many diseases like atherosclerosis, obesity which in turn can lead to hypertension. The increase in the blood pressure can be significantly brought down by doing regular exercises like swimming, walking, cycling, jogging.
These exercises can even lower the risk of heart attacks and strokes due to the high blood pressure by increasing the flow of blood in the blood vessels which increases the sheer stress that regulates the blood flow. By doing the regular exercises, one can easily prevent the hypertension from developing.

Exercises also help to decrease the insulin resistance which is also a contributor to hypertension. Even though regular exercises when continued routinely, helps to lower the levels of blood pressure, patients with hypertension also need to modify their lifestyle with connection to their exercise like avoiding smoking, alcohol abuse, avoiding the fat rich and processed foods.
