High Blood Pressure and Chest Pain |
High blood pressure is a condition that can cause heart disease when not maintained properly or early in the disease, this in turn can cause heart disease. Heart disease from high blood pressure means that damage has been done and this is the reason that some people with high blood pressure will also experience chest pains. High blood pressure is known to be the leading cause of angina, myocardial infarction and heart attack. This occurs because the high blood pressure can cause damage to the walls of the arteries, which can then cause the formation of scar tissue, along with cholesterol and lipid buildup. This is why some people with high blood pressure can experience chest pain, irregular heart beats, and even suffer a heart attack when not maintaining the blood pressure level. One of the other conditions that can occur is left ventricular hypertrophy, This is a condition where the left ventricle of the heart becomes enlarged and stiffen that can impair the hearts ability to pump blood properly, resulting in chest pain. This is a condition the physician should be told about immediately. |
