Ocular hypertension is a condition in which the pressure inside the eyes increases and it goes beyond 21 mm of mercury. A person suffering from ocular hypertension does not experience any symptoms such as blurred or changing vision at its initial stages and initially there is no damage caused to optic nerve. It is very important to treat ocular hypertension otherwise it can result in developing serious condition of eyes such as glaucoma which causes blurred vision. If a person is suffering from ocular hypertension from long time and if he is unknown about it then he can experience symptom of eye damage. |
