Can natural remedies help patients suffering from hypotension? |
Low blood pressure or hypotension usually does not require treatment using medications. Some natural remedies can help reduce hypotension. The best way to reduce incidence of hypotension is to drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration. Drinking a cup of beetroot juice twice daily may be beneficial for people who suffer from hypotension. Soak some raisins in water and leave it overnight. The next morning, chew the raisins and drink some water. This can help stabilize blood pressure. You can also soak some almonds in water. Then peel the almonds and grind them to a paste. Add this paste in a cup of milk and drink it. Make an extract of holy basil leaves and mix it with some honey and drink the mixture. This is a very useful home remedy for low blood pressure. Another home remedy for hypotension involves consuming an infusion made using Indian spikenard, camphor and cinnamon. Even a cup of strong black coffee can help raise blood pressure levels. Some people with hypotension feel much better after soaking in a warm bath with Epsom salts. Include plenty of proteins, B complex vitamins and vitamin C in your diet. It would also be advisable to increase your consumption of salt to a small extent and make exercise a part of your daily regimen. |
