Patient is told to collect samples of urine at different time interval. Patients are advised not to do anything different if you are collecting samples. Patient should eat and drink regular diet. It can reveal phaeochromocytoma. Phaeochromocytoma is a rare kind of high blood pressure. The results can also indicate the amount of salt intake and whether the kidney is functioning well or not. The test also can give information on cholesterol level in the blood. It can also reveal the condition Cushing’s syndrome. If there is a small trace of protein in the urine it shows abnormalities in the kidneys. If a small amount of blood is found in the urine sample, it can be a problem with kidney and the bladder. Doctors generally prescribe urine test to ensure that there is no complication in other body parts due to high blood pressure. |
